Financial Wellness Resources
We were thrilled to be joined by Sarah Sprague Gerber, Founder and CEO of Momentum Financial Planning LLC, for our PhD 101 series for a very involved presentation on Mastering the Basics of Personal Finance. Sarah is an engineer and a graduate of the UC Berkeley Extension school who saw a serious need for better financial coaching and education for young professionals.
During this workshop she gave tips and guidance for 40 participants on subjects ranging from types of bank accounts to own, credit cards and establishing credit, paying off student loans, saving for retirement in Traditional and Roth IRA Accounts, as well as budgeting and spending from at the day, month, and year level.
