2024-25 Phi Beta Kappa Graduate Fellowships funded by the Alpha chapter and Northern California Association
Thanks to the generous support of past Berkeley members of Phi Beta Kappa, each year the chapter is able to award a limited number of fellowships to members of Phi Beta Kappa currently enrolled as doctoral students at UCB. (Winners who are temporarily not enrolled will receive their fellowship grants once they re-enroll.) Preference is given to students who have nearly completed their dissertations and who have exhausted other forms of financial support. In addition, the
Northern California Association of alumni members of Phi Beta Kappa supports our program by awarding
additional fellowships. Students who are in the UCB/UCSF Joint Medical Program should apply through UCSF. Last year a total of four fellowships in the amount of $10,000 each were awarded to Berkeley doctoral candidates.
To apply, complete the
Graduate Fellowship Application and submit all applicable materials by
February 1, 2024. CalNet ID is required. Awards for 2024-25 academic year will be announced in mid-April 2024.
