Volunteer with Berkeley Underground Scholars
Are you interested in supporting formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted students at UC Berkeley? The
Berkeley Underground Scholars program β housed within the Division of Equity and Inclusion at UC Berkeley β is seeking graduate students in STEM to volunteer their time to tutor students in STEM. Volunteers will gain skills in teaching and mentoring students. Interested applicants should apply using

Mentoring Middle School Students
Inspire 7th graders to discover their inner scientist. As a volunteer
Be a Scientist! mentor, you will guide a small group of students through the process of designing and conducting their own scientific investigations during their science lab periods over a 6-week period.
