PLEASE VOTE! GA Fee Referendum in the 2023 ASUC Election - April 10-12
Voting on graduate student fees is happening April 10th to April 12th through the ASUC Elections. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to vote and there are a two fee propositions which directly affect all graduate and professional students:
  • Class Pass: pays for our ACTransit Bus Pass and Campus Shuttles.
  • GA Fee: replaces the ASUC Fee to send the fee directly to the GA to fund graduate registered student organizations and GA activities while returning more to financial aid.
More than 2,500 graduate students have to vote for the referenda to be legitimate! You should have received a ballot in your email inbox today.
UAW Berkeley/LBL Trainings: Knowing and Enforcing your Rights
Join your coworkers for a series of trainings this spring on what is in the new contracts, and how we can enforce these new rights through organizing, collective action, and our union grievance process. The Contract Enforcement Trainings are held regularly so that every worker knows their rights, practices identifying violations, and learns how we hold the University accountable together. RSVP here

After more than two years of organizing, Student Researchers have now joined UAW 2865 to make one big union of student workers at UC! All student researchers should now sign up as dues paying members of UAW 2865: https://uaw2865.org/join/
