Berkeley/Stanford Computational Mechanics Festival (CompFest)
We would like to invite you to participate in the Berkeley/Stanford CompFest 2022. This will be the 8th edition of CompFest, which is a ‘Mechanics & Computation Festival’ that we believe is particularly beneficial for younger researchers in our community. More information is available on the CompFest website at https://compfest.stanford.edu.
This year’s CompFest will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Stanford Campus. The format is as follows:
(1) We allow graduate students and postdocs in the invited research groups to present.
(2) We take the total time available (up to 8 hours) and divide it by the number of speakers.
(3) Typically, each presenter gets about 5 minutes to give a very concise ’snapshot’ of their research.
There is no registration fee but every participant must submit the registration form available on the CompFest website before November 18, 2022.

The Grad Pantry team of UC Berkeley’s Basic Needs Center (BNC) will be hosting the Grad Pantry Pop-Up at our second location this semester: Evans Hall & Hearst Mining Circle.
You will find us in front of Evans Hall & Hearst Mining Circle on Weds., Nov 9 & Nov 16.
